Our Story

When Kheyla, became pregnant she had so many preconceptions about how naturally everything would come to her. However, when she began breastfeeding, she struggled to produce enough breastmilk for her son, as she was completely unaware of the mental, physical or environmental considerations involved in nursing. After a visit from a health visitor and conducting research around natural breastfeeding support, she was able to nurse her son until he was 2 years old, but the isolation and shame she felt in early motherhood, was something she felt called to try and remedy for others. And so, Mother Nature's Recipes came to fruition. Following the birth of her daughter in 2018, she felt inspired to open up the conversation to centre womanhood and WHOLE-listic pathways to healing and wellbeing through models that empower all bodies that resonate with the female form.

  • "I want to open up the dialogue around the experiences of womanhood and try to create equitable, safe spaces for women to not just be heard, but provided with the tools to empower their well-being journeys, sustainably.”
